The goal of this project was to reveal how an RNA suppression therapy works at the molecular level, using a simplified & clear visual style.  Meant to be used in live presentations, the animation needed to work as both a full composition and broken up as "chapterized" vignettes.  After several rounds of creative exploration with the client at the beginning of the project, it was determined that each scene should act more like a moving illustration, marrying qualities of both 2D & 3D worlds.  Not only a wonderful creative direction to explore, this style allowed the focus to remain solely on what is most important: a clear visual story.
